The SG/EG data transmission systems are designed for the unidirectional transmission of 16 to 32 digital process signals via a two-wire connection. The system can be expanded with additional modules.
The transmitting unit (SG 316) acquires the digital signals, which are transmitted by the receiving (EG 316) unit via floating relay contacts.
